DIRECTIONS TO CORDINGLEY LAKE
As you enter Nakina turn left onto Quebec Street.
Quebec Street becomes Cordingley Street and a gravel road as it leaves town.
You will pass the airport and the cemetery.
It’s approximately 3.5-4 km (2-2.5 miles) to the lake
DIRECTIONS TO Hoff Lake
As you enter Nakina turn left onto Quebec Street.
Quebec Street becomes Cordingley Street and a gravel road as it leaves town.
You will come to a 4 way intersection just before arriving at Cordingley Lake.
Turn right and travel 14.8 km (9 miles) to the Waba extension road. (Note this road is not marked Waba extension rd)
Turn left onto Waba extension road and travel 8.5 km (5.2 miles) to a sign saying Stairs Lake road (Sucker Lake)
Turn left and travel 7.7 km (4.8 miles) will bring you to where canoes are put into Hoff Lake. You can’t see the lake from here but there is a walking trail to the right where you have to carry your canoe down to the lake.
If you travel another .5 km (.3 miles) it will bring you to a bridge that crosses Pennock River.
NOTE: You will cross the long carry route on the way to Hoff Lake.
DIRECTIONS TO WABABIMIGA LAKE
As you enter Nakina turn left onto Quebec Street.
Quebec Street becomes Cordingley Street and a gravel road as it leaves town.
You will come to a 4 way intersection just before arriving at Cordingley Lake.
Turn right and travel 14.8 km (9 miles) to the Waba extension road. (Note this road is not marked Waba extension rd)
Turn left onto Waba extension road and travel 10.2 km (6.3 miles)
Turn right and follow narrow trail 4.1 km (2.6 miles) to Waba Lake.
NOTE: There is a trail that veers off to the left that will take you back to the Waba extension road so be careful you stay to the right all the way to the lake.
DIRECTIONS TO HIGH HILL CLIMB
As you enter Nakina turn left onto Quebec Street.
Quebec Street becomes Cordingley Street and a gravel road as it leaves town.
You will come to a 4 way intersection just before arriving at Cordingley Lake.
Turn right and travel 14.8 km (9 miles) to the Waba extension road. (Note this road is not marked Waba extension rd)
Turn left onto Waba extension road and travel 13 km (8 miles)
There is a portage trail on the left side of road leading down the hill to the L shaped Lake.
