Hey All, I just recently found another original printing of TLN. It came to me by the way of a friend who does cleanouts and knows I liked the old Juvinile tales in the Meader books. A box of somne 40 old books cost me a case of beer and a fishing rod! Im up to 11 TLN hardcover books and about 7 different printings. I am glad there are regulars here now that keep the TLN passion strong. Such a tale and such memories we have of it. How it may have influenced your outdoor wanderings and interests and how, since we know this was a real family; we can almost see them in our imaginations going about their work, whcih was their survival. From the Big Wolf to the details of the Watch Grave, we have delved into this tale sometimes like miners looking for a golden nugget. Sometimes we got lucky and found something worthwhile. The ONE thing i wished that had survived were the bush diarys. Cant have everything, . cheers Brian AKA HIKER7s
