Stumbled on this while reseaching this morning. Did Emile start out as part of a family of fur farmers? (of course "Cote" was and still is a popular name) Quite possible no connection. Brian, Lets not post any names addresses until we are given permission from individuals. I've taken care not to print (and in some cases to remove) personal info on people currently living unless they have given that permission. Early on, some folks were being contacted due to info post on the TLN web site and that wasn't always welcome.

Brian, that's an interesting find on the Cotes. I've read that web site before. It contains fascinating information. But I never noticed that reference to the Cotes.

I probably can figure Emile's birth date from the cemetary. Wll look into it ths week. I am almost positive he was born in Hanmer ON.
