Not many places to look on the internet for answers like this but I'm the great grandson of James Cordingley who without a doubt the lake is named on honour of. He worked as the general manager of the CN rail station in town during the 20' s and 30's. Anyone with any info or pics if possible would be great fully appreciated

Spent quite a few nights at the Northland Outfitters cottages before and after my trips back into Wababimiga Lake. This is the location on Cordingley Lake that Big Lindsey opened up early in his days in Nakina. There is one if not more air charter services that fly out of Cordingley Lake and it was a very busy place while I was there. Just a couple miles north of Nakina and worth a visit if you ever have a chance!

Have visited twice. Once in 2012 and again last week for fly-in trips. Very few people know any history of the town and the "museum" is coincidentally never open.
