I got an email from someone who saw a letter in the November Fur~Fish~Game magazine referring to the Trap-Lines North web site. I had read that issue but somehow missed it. Thanks, Bill for letting me know, and thanks to the guy who sent the letter to FFG!

Yes, I saw the little blurb too, it was in the Letters to the Editor part. Actually I've had a fairly long standing relationship with Mitch Cox the editor of FFG, over the past couple of years with some proposed articles. So I emailed Mitch (June, 23/08) & metioned to him about the Nakina Anniversary and mentioned to him that I was going up and canoeing up the Beauty with Russ to do some fishing and retrace the area where Jim and Lindsay had their line cabins and trapline. In closing, I mentioned that we were going to stop by the watch grave site to pay our respects just like Jim and Lindsay did years ago. He thought that was pretty good!
By the way Matt, I tried posting the pictures that I had used with the new article on Jim and Lindsay Life after Nakina, that I gave you to post back in November. I thought I'd do that just so everyone could see them before the article came out. When do you think that might be! So in the thread everyone that reads now, they'll have to cut and paste the Url into their Explorer box to see them. That thread is calles Picture from Nakina. Just to let you know.
Looks like the links didn't stay with this thread, so I'll have to try iy again Thanks, John

Hey John, I added your article "Jim & Lindsay Vanderbeck - Live After Nakina" to the History page on the main site. Great article. Sorry it took me so long to get it published. Check it out, everyone, at: traplinesnorth.tripod.com/history.htm

Matt, It's been a while since I've had a chance to get back to the TLN site, due to that recent book project I was telling you about (Chris Taggart Adventure; Alexander McKenzie Voyageur Route; Chris & I have a publisher in Calgary interested in it) but I did want to thank you for getting the story up online.
