Hey Brian good to see you back! Yes one of those jars is in your den right now! Chris Lenard who has visited the Waba Lake home stead twice now sent me cutlery he found at the cabin site. Pretty exciting. Sthingy & fork that the Vanderbecks used! Chris also found a bunch of buckles from dog harness behind the cabin site and sent me a couple. I can only imagine if one was to do a dig at the site, the things one would find. Russ

Russ, this is exciting to hear about as the last report was.....I wonder (surely they did) where their dump site was. Although, back then much was burnable but you never know. I agree, there is probably a treasure of obscure Vanderbeck history in the ruins of that place. How many years did they actually use it. 1926- 38?
