I have been a yearly reader of Trap Lines North for almost 35 years. I first read the book when I was a seventh grader and was a small time muskrat and coon trapper in Southeast Ohio.
Acquired the book and read it every year during January after the holidays because of being stuck in the house after work.
It is hard to believe that some of you have actually gone to the various sites from the book as well as all the research about the family.
I would love to attempt this in my future. I have been on a moose hunt in Quebec before and just couldn't get over the Canadian Country.
I have read all the post from the site since finding it. I will be checking back often.
